Let ODB Help Your Employees or Clients Get Financially Fit
Our Daily Bread, Inc. (ODB) can bring financial literacy training to your employees for FREE. Research shows that employees who have a firm grasp on their finances are happier and more productive workers. With that in mind, our financial literacy experts would like to come to your site to help your employees/clients get financially fit.
Using FDIC's Money Smart curriculum, ODB can provide one-time one-hour budgeting and credit classes or 4-part or 6-part "Credit Smart" courses. Classes are free and available in Spanish. We need a commitment of 10 or more adults to bring this service to your workplace or agency during lunch time or early morning. Students take a pre/post test and ODB follows up with a survey to track long term effectiveness of the class. Classes are designed for employees making $50,000 or less.
One time, 90-minute Budget/Credit Class
Designed to help individuals or families create a budget and understand the basics of credit. ODB trains volunteers in FDIC’s Money Smart curriculum to conduct the classes in a group setting.
6-part or 4-part series of Credit Smart Class
The six or four-week “Credit Smart” course seeks to help participants better manage their money, improve their credit ratings and gain a better understanding of the process of buying a home. ODB trains volunteers that have experience in the areas of finance and mortgages to conduct the classes.
Topics will include:
- Your Credit and Why It Is Important
- Managing Your Money and Banking Services
